My Handsome Boys

We took a few different sets of pictures for Christmas cards this year, and though I loved the outfits below, we ended up not using any from this set.  The suspenders and bow ties didn't fit right, and kept shifting out of place.  I couldn't resist sharing this picture though.  I love it...wonky accessories and all!

Thanksgiving 2015

Happy Thanksgiving!  I am once again so lucky to have so much to be grateful for.  I have a happy, healthy, loving family and couldn't ask for more.  Thanks to you all for everything you do.

Some Big News!

I am SO proud to announce that Jack won an award for excellence at school on Friday.  Each month, one student from each class earns this award, and gets to have lunch with the principle.  Jack is only the second student from his class to be selected, and we are so, so proud of him.  Go Jack!

On a separate note, here's a mini slideshow of some fun we had w/ the cousins yesterday!

Who Said Homework Isn't Fun?

I couldn't resist recording Jack and Owen while they did their homework today, as it wasn't the usual reaction.  They have different spelling activities they're required to do in order to practice their spelling words.  The activities are usually kind of fun anyway, like write them in rainbow letters, makeup a story using all the words, etc.  Today they had to write the word once with the hand they usually use, then again with the other hand.  For some reason it had them cracking up, which I had to share.

Happy Friday!

Go Warriors

We got to spend some time with the little cousins last night watching Jack and Owen play soccer. We didn't pull out the win, but Owen had a goal while Jack played some awesome defense! Go Warriors!!

Dancing Machines

Jack and Owen have always loved to dance (some of you may remember their Step-In-Time days!).  Recently, after getting into the TV show So You Think You Can Dance, they've been really into break dancing and hip hop.  We found a local studio that offers a class for their age range, and after a month of classes they had their first performance over the weekend.  Keep your eye out for the "coffee-grinder"...their favorite move!
